Summer position assisting on a variety of projects, including furniture design for health care, a NYC apartment renovation project.

Researched and developed ‘Age-itecture,’ a proposal for a new nursing home typology which would compensate, through architecture, for the loss of physical abilities as we age. Produced data representation and info-graphics to explain the concept, while rendering the prototypical spaces in Rhino and 3D Studio Max.

Worked on all aspects of design development and detailing in a small office. Primary projects were custom residential: a guest house in Sonoma, CA and a new multistory residence in Brooklyn. For the guest house, I made physical models to further the design, helped select materials and drew all interior details. With a co-worker, I produced a complete set of construction drawings for the house. Other projects include exhibition design at the Guggenheim and projects for NYC Parks.

Worked in every aspect of a variety of projects from schematic design through construction documents. My responsibilities included project management, preparing material for client meetings, developing projects from schematics through details, and managing project digital files. Major projects included Gap Inc. remodel schematics, Gelateria Naia gelato store, Mercury Fitness pilates gym, a winery master plan, and various residential remodel projects in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
