Michael Walker has been in Law Enforcement for over 33 years. He is currently contracted with the United States Attorney's Office as a Special Litigative Consultant and employed as a Director at LEO Technologies, LLC.During his law enforcement career, Michael has promoted through the ranks of patrol officer, gang investigator, Special Agent, Executive Director and Special Prosecutorial Consultant. He specializes in gangs (street and prison), Organized Crime Groups, and Continuing Criminal Enterprise, investigations and intelligence gathering, on state and federal levels. With a good working knowledge of state and federal statutes, Michael is able to provide expert consultation and investigative direction to law enforcement agencies and groups.Michael has trained Agents from each of the Federal Law Enforcement agencies, law enforcement officers from many different states as well as California state, county and local officers as well as civilians who deal with "at risk youth". Most recently Michael has been traveling out of state to train law enforcement organizations about the emerging problems resulting from CA gang members entering their areas via the Federal Bureau of Prisons and how to deal with these emerging threats.Michael is currently the Director of Account Management for LEO Technologies (LeoTech), where he manages and supervises over all of LeoTech's Account Managers and Verus Specialists, assist with legislative initiatives, maintains contact with law enforcement stakeholders, and supports LeoTech executives. Michael is also currently contracted by the United States Attorney's Office as a Subject Matter Expert / Special Litigative Consultant for the Organized Crime Strike Force unit.Michael has been the Executive Director of the Central Coast Gang Investigators Association (CCGIA) since 2004 to present and directs/manages the day to day operations of that association.
