I started my career as Operations Support for Starwood Hotels Call Centres, moving into an IT administration role managing employee permissions and roles as well as directing load balance traffic flows across all five North American call centers. I spent 2 years as a Systems Analyst for the Austin Police Department 911 Emergency Services. There I was responsible for creating and maintaining employee system accesses, the department intranet, and handling the testing, application, and supervision of Computer Assisted Dispatch system updates, upgrades, and patches. I was also responsible for troubleshooting system and hardware issues. Currently, my position for Q2's Integrated Operations Center requires administration of the company DNS, network security policies and access, load balancing, NATing, servers, and AWS, as well as general infrastructure.
