I have been designing lighting since doing the theatrical lighting for my high school productions. From there I went on to do lighting for amateur productions, concerts and then professionally for homes, offices and a variety of commercial projects. I was a recipient of an IESANZ lighting award for S&T's Wellington Design Studio and have designed lighting for hospital theatres to boardrooms. Beyond the theatrical I am enthusiastic about designing using daylight. I was involved with the design and commissioning of the first DALI lighting installation in New Zealand and we incorporated sophisticated daylight harvesting into the system.I enjoy being able to work on all aspects of sustainable design including photo-voltaic systems, lighting, building controls and Green Star assessments. As a sustainable design consultant I have been involved with the Green Building Council of New Zealand since working as a director on the establishment council. I am an Accredited Professional and have worked on Technical Working Groups as a daylight and lighting expert.Specialties: lighting design, daylighting design, sustainable design
