Fortis College offers degree and certificate programs in a variety of fields, including Registered Nursing (RN), Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN), Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refridgeration (HVAC-R) and Welding (WLD). New programs are constantly being considered as the local community employment needs change. Serving Fortis College as Hybrid Coordinator and as Lead Science Instructor. As Hybrid Coordinator, I am the liasion between online staff and ground based students providing both technical support and online course assistance. The Science Department Lead Instructor manages faculty develoment, student academic success and curriculum development in addition to the basic instructional duties of material delivery in lecture and laboratory formats and tutoring. Other experiences and duties include Student Retention Specialist, ABHES Accredidation Organizer, Interim Administrative Lead for the Medical Assisting Program, multiple Committee Chair (Curriculum, Safety and Systematic Evaluation Committees), Committee member (Curriculum and Safety), Student Advisor and Campus Restart Coordinator (assisting qualified students with program re-entry).

What began as a challenge to train Cub Scouts in First Aid and CPR has turned into a full fledged Instructor Training. Based at Fortis College Cincinnati, classes can be scheduled at 513-771-2795.

Working as owner/operator of a small Chiropractic clinic has provided a variety of business experience spanning from employee management and payroll to marketing and State compliance. As a Physician I enjoyed offering services such as forensic evaluations, legal consulting, compliance training and temporary clinic coverage in addition to everyday patient care.

Serving as a part time facilitator at University of Phoenix is a rewarding experience. I am approved to teach a variety of healthcare and science courses ranging from first year Introductory Biology to the Healthcare Administration Capstone.
