Video & Audio Producing Director And Social Media Coordinator
Support the strategy and initiatives of CHQ Assembly and its video and audio production at Chautauqua Institution, as well as marketing and communications strategies via digital storytelling. This is accomplished through:• Assuming positions as live video technician, live audio technician, documentary, explainer, sales or campaign video producer/director, and social media coordinator• Interacting with and sometimes leading teams according to an agreed-upon production plan• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality video components and captures for continuity and consistency• Being responsible for assigned video or audio recordings• Providing limited, and as necessary, direction to hosts/talent, and provide support to the broadcast production team• Daily editing and mixing live productions, utilizing a strong understanding of broadcasting and Livestream production• Daily use of TriCaster or similar equipment, standard video equipment (lighting, PTZ cameras, networking, NDI, remote video resources), virtual video equipment, and software including, but not limited to: vMix, Skype, Zoom (both meetings and webinars), ZoomOSC, OBS, OBS-Ninja, QLab, and other video operating hardware (X-Keys, Streamdecks, or similar quick-key supports)• Providing coverage for event leadership on other broadcasting platforms, including the Virtual Porch (LiveWebinar) and Learning Management System• Collecting information from a variety of sources to maintain a strategy-aligned and dynamic social media personality and presence• Developing video storyboards, supporting script development, conducting off-camera subject matter/talent interviews, selecting interview segments to support the script or story, and managing productions from concept through production and post-production, paying special attention to strategy to ensure products are developed with the full range of uses in mind (full-form video; trailers; social media posts; and advertising posts)
