In this job I manage a team of 10 employees. I received their input on a weekly basis and merging this with my own experience and training, to communicate and produce quick service and excellent stock control. This is proven with by my constant green audits on stocks and impeccable standard for the last 8 years. I had responsibility for training new staff and managers up to the company standard and also provide succession training for managers of the future. These experiences have given me competitive high level skills in time management, team work, costing, working within a corporate environment, working to strict time constraints, working under pressure and communication to all levels of management whether they understand the kitchen/pub environment or not and have been now heightened by my time at university to a professional degree.

I worked in an office based environment in a team of 6. On a daily basis I had to analyse supplier accounts against agreements in place and detect anomalies which led to underpayments by the supplier. I had to work to strict time scales and ensure my work was thorough, accurate and to a high standard that the company expected. I achieved this by using my high level of time management, analytical, Excel, adaptability and flexibility skills. This was at times a very stressful environment but using the technical skills I had learnt at university and my personal capabilities developed while working as a manager I managed the work load and created effective plans to get the work complete to a high standard that was expected. During this year I developed both my technical skills and personal ones and this was shown in my outstanding appraisals and the opportunity my manager offered me to continue my job during my final year and after graduation.
