• Supported the implementation of 14 new systems under the Global Optimization programme in November 2017.
• Implemented Investment Division Data Lake support team. This is the first divisional team to successfully publish and subscribe to the Enterprise Data Lake.

• Leading a global Application Services team of approximately 150 resources globally. Accountable for global support of 250+ applications for Investments and Group Functions (Corporate Systems).
• Implemented Managed Services contract for commodity Investment systems with third party based in India. 27 applications in Wave 1 complete with a cost save of over $1,200,000 per annum. Initiative to migrate 20.
• Replaced or converted from contract approximately 69% of Group Functions staff over a seven month period, including 5 of 6 directors, to successfully address significant quality and customer service issues.

• Assumed responsibility for all platforms including those managed under my previous role as well as Production Services.
• Implemented HA/DR or ‘Always On’ architecture for all remaining platforms, including Utility and File Server farms. Using Double-Take for real-time data replication.
• File Server farm implementation included consolidation of Investment, Group Functions and former Standard Life file server farms producing cost savings of $200,000 per annum.
• Executed largest DR test in Manulife history with 73 applications failing over to platforms that were up and available in 90 seconds or less.

• Manage the Investment Systems Hedging Systems support team, as well as the Database Analyst team.
• Implemented SQL Roadmap, building a SQL 2012 farm on Windows Server 2012 creating the ‘Investments Database Cloud’. Reduced footprint from 29 to 15 servers saving over $300,000 per annum while providing a highly.
• Implemented Microsoft High Performance Computing (HPC) for Variable Annuity Hedging, reducing footprint (saving over $1,000,000 per annum) while increasing capacity and performance.
• Initiated and built business case for Global Batch Operations initiative. Project consolidated Batch Operations for all of Manulife IT in Manila, repatriating several contracts globally with a net present value of over.
