Prepared and managed operational and capital budgets, managed daily operations.- Facilitated the programming and planning for a six story $77M 90 bed Benjamin and Marian Schuster Heart Hospital- Led out in the design, construction, equipment evaluation and purchasing, staffing and start-up of the $2.5M shared Cardiac Cath/Interventional Radiology Suite at KMC Sycamore- Identified growth and technology opportunities leading to equipment upgrades for the Radiation Oncology Department with the implementation of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and upgraded CT planning equipment while transitioning the department to a new Medical Director.- Initiated cardiac outreach programs including Cardiovascular Health Assessment Screenings, Cardiac Calcium Scoring Screenings, Heart Print Screenings, and the Healthy Hearts for Women Program with the successful goal of introducing new patients into the Kettering Health Network. - Facilitated the hospital teams and processes leading to Chest Pain Center and ICAEL accreditations for Kettering Medical Center and Kettering Medical Center Sycamore.- Strategized and collaborated with Department of Quality in developing action plans for optimal performance of all Cardiac Core Measures: Kettering Medical Center achieved a Five star rating for the treatment of Heart Failure 2006-2010; The 2003 Premier “Q” Quality Award for Heart Failure; The 2004-2006 Solutient Top 100 hospitals award; The 2007 Thompson Top 100 hospital award.

Florida Hospital Altamonte/Apopka

I led in the preparing and managing of operational and capital budgets, managed the staffing and on-call schedules, inventory and daily operations for the Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology, Neurodiagnostic and Sleep Lab departments for Florida Hospital Altamonte and Apopka. Had 23 FTE direct reports.- Led the Cath Lab from start-up to a volume of over 1800 procedures/year. Evaluated, hired and trained the Interventional Cardiac/Radiology Technologists and Nurses.- Initiated neurodiagnostic testing and added and sleep study program consisting of four sleep labs, EEG, and EMG services.- Implemented the APOLLO Hemodynamic system and database for Cath Lab with a goal of moving the Cath Lab hemodynamic and procedure documentation and results to an automated electronic health record.- Instituted the design, construction, and equipment purchase of 2nd Cardiac Cath/Interventional Radiology lab with two additional recovery rooms: This project doubled the capacity of the Florida Altamonte IR/Cath lab.
