In this role, I was one member of two person IT team providing 24x7 support for a HIPAA compliant production network. I was involved in a variety daily of activities such as enterprise-level network design, Windows Server support, and SAN administration. Some of my major accomplishments were:• Installation of new Cisco UCS to provide additional VMware capacity.• Planned and implemented network isolation and segmentation project which included the installation and configuration of a Cisco ASA5510 firewall and multiple subnets.• Completed network tuning and optimization project which resulted in dramatically improved network reliability.

At StoreFinancial I was a member of the Systems Operations team which managed and maintained several PCI compliant prepaid processing networks. In this role, I provided 24x7 support for these networks including such tasks as system administration, troubleshooting, customer support and remediation of security review findings. Some of the more specific projects and initiatives I have completed include the following:• Performed server/network build-outs of Development and Production network environments.• Built new Storefinancial Datacenter.• Planned and completed several network expansions including addition of new floor which involved both wired and wireless expansions.• In place upgrade/replacement of main corporate firewall.• Built, configured and implemented McAfee Email Gateway 7.0 to replace old Ironmail email gateway.• Planned and implemented Enterprise Antivirus system for production environments. The server runs Windows 2008 R2 Standard x64 on a Virtual Machine. McAfee's ePolicy Orchestrator 5.0 is installed with VirusScan 8.8 being pushed out to clients.

In this position, I managed, maintained and improved a diverse enterprise network of over 500 users. Additionally I was responsible for broad range of duties from Windows Server support to high level LAN/WAN design and implementation. Specific projects/initiatives I was involved in were as follows:• Led multi-company project team in broad MPLS WAN backbone implementation to a diverse mixture of over 40 locations in a four state area.• Deployed Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 server farm and top-level site collection test environment.• Installed, managed and maintained multiple enterprise level Watchguard firewalls. Implemented enterprise traffic monitor/reporting software providing management with up-to-date network usage reporting.• Implemented Symantec Endpoint Protection v11 across all windows based hosts. Designed update architecture to minimize network usage.• Planned and managed Cisco Ironport secure email system with redundant Cisco Ironport Encryption Appliances. Managed complete system which also featured an Ironport C150 anti-spam appliance.• Deployed and maintained Shavlik NetChk 7.0 enabling company-wide security update management.

In this position I was part of a team with global administration responsibilities and a 24 hour on-call rotation. We were responsible for maintenance, integrations and operations for almost 300 NT/2000/2003 servers and over 40 Netware 6 servers. Specific projects/initiatives I was involved in were as follows:• Planned, led and successfully completed server integration projects for newly acquired companies into the main GE network with minimal user downtime.• Deployed web application metering system enabling administrators to gain reliable metrics used to streamline and optimize their application.• Implemented Sitescope server monitoring software that improved critical issue response time by 50%.
