Michael is a doctoral student at Kent State University, studying cognitive psychology with a concentration in Quantitative Methodology. He is researching under the guidance of Dr. Chris Was in the Proceedural Learning and Cognition Lab. Formely, Michael studied at the University of North Carolina Greensboro where he received an M.A. in experimental psychology under the guidance of Dr. Michael Kane in the I.D.E.A Lab. Using both correlational and experimental methods, Michael studies mind-wandering, attention, social contagion, & performance in educational settings. Through research Michael hopes to increase educational equity by helping inform classroom protocols & policies.
