Operation INHERENT RESOLVECommanded a twelve-person Special Forces Operational Detachment-Alpha (SFOD-A) comprised of mature, experienced, and highly trained Non-Commissioned Officers specializing in direct action and military mountaineering to support unconventional warfare in highly sensitive environments with strategic impacts to national security and US interests. While forward deployed I commanded a Special Operations Compound of approximately 200 personnel from over 10 different agencies supporting Operation INHERENT RESOLVE. My Detachment advised, trained, and employed a 900-person Host-Nation Special Operations Battalion responsible for the largest geographic province in their country which saw the most combat than any other province in Syria at the time. While training, my Detachment frequently developed highly complex training exercises involving different law enforcement, DoD, and other government agencies and was the first Detachment to Train with the Sultan Special Forces in the last 5 years.Assistant Operations Officer for the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force (CJSOTF) - Erbil, IraqOperation INHERENT RESOLVEPrincipal advisor to the CJSOTF Commander in a forward deployed Task Force responsible for all joint and combined Special Operations in both Iraq and Syria in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE. I managed resourcing and leveraged the operations staff to ensure the Detachments had the requisite assets in place for Advise/Assist/Accompany mission success across the full-spectrum of Special Operations and activities. I managed the executive communications for the Task Force Commander; compiling, editing, and disseminating the Daily Situation Report which often informed senior policy makers up to Secretary of Defense and Presidential level. -Current Security Clearance: Top-Secret (SCI)-Arabic Oral Proficiency Interview Level 1+
