I am a software engineer/architect/team lead and have had 15+ years of experience leading, designing, developing and maintaining system-level and embedded software. My experience includes benchmarking and optimizing image processing algorithms, patent searching and management, new idea generation and roadmap creation. I have held a variety of positions in product development, advanced development, and customer service departments. Most recently, I was studying machine learning technologies. I have several years of part-time system administration experience. I built and managed high reliability servers and client virtual machines used by the development community. ESXi was the host OS. Linux clients provided a variety of functions needed by the development community including the version control system (Perforce) and storage of images (1.5M images) used in algorithm development.My work has impacted many products sold by Eastman Kodak and Kodak Alaris such as USB and networked document scanners, photo kiosks and wholesale photofinishing systems.Colleagues know me as a friendly, dependable, enthusiastic, out of the box thinker that can come up with new ways to solve problems. My goal was always to help the company be successful and help create a vision for the future.
