GroupM helps our clients win in an incredibly competitive marketplace. I took care of all aspects of hiring, building a centralized recruiting hub to accelerate the performance of our operating companies in North America. Reporting line into the North America CPO.

Reporting into the Global Chief People Officer, I led a team of 60 amazing people across 9 markets. We doubled the company headcount in one year. We hired 400 Engineers from the most admired technology players in the world. We applied service design principles to our entire hiring process. We launched R&D sites in India, brought multiple new products to market and laid the foundation to eventually win against formidable competition in the ride-hailing space. I worked closely with the co-Founders of Grab to rapidly build out a world-class executive team in Singapore. I deployed Workday Recruiting across all of South East Asia, and launched Beamery (Recruitment CRM). We were recognized for our excellence in recruiting, picking up 6 nominations and 5 trophies, in: - Recruitment Advertising - Employer Branding - Candidate Experience- Careers Website- Regional Recruitment Programme

GroupM is the world's largest media investment management operation, serving as the parent company to WPP's media agencies. During my time at GroupM we strengthened our market leadership, doubled headcount, revenue and profit. WPP share price grew almost 3x during my employment here, from 6.44 to 18.06 GBP. I built and grew a centralized talent acquisition hub servicing GroupM's operating companies, which were large media agencies and technology providers, including Mindshare, MediaCom and Xaxis. We delivered top talent across APAC. I led a virtual team who operated from 10 countries in APAC, the largest of which were in Singapore, India, China and Australia. We were recognized for multiple awards for excellence, winning a total of 16 trophies at the Asia Recruitment Awards in 2016 and in 2015 we took the "Grand Winner" prize, including golds in three highly competitive categories: Best Recruitment Advertising Strategy, Best Career Website, and Best Use of Recruitment Technology.

Operating from offices in Beijing and Hong Kong, we achieved our mission to be recognized and trusted as a concierge executive recruiting service in the APAC region, especially in China. It was during this time that I founded the Returning Chinese Jobs Network 海归求职群 which reaches about 2500 members. Repeat customers included KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, FICO, Nielsen, Synovate, Accenture Marketing Sciences, Dunnhumby, JigoCity, Google, Symbian, Qualcomm, Tencent, Baidu and a significant number of VC / PE invested start-ups, primarily in the consumer internet and O2O space.

Founded & managed a high-growth technical search and recruitment business, serving FTSE 250, NASDAQ, AIM businesses as well as VC funded start-ups. We operated internationally, but had an especially strong presence in Europe, particularly tech-hot-spots such as Cambridge, Bristol, Ireland, Holland and Germany. In the latter period, I spent a significant amount of time, money and sweat on researching and subsequently entering the burgeoning China market.It was during this time I became very interested in information security (OSINT, Penetration Testing) and it's application in competitive intelligence and recruiting. During this time, I also founded the 'Level Up' group on Linkedin, a community for people interested in the games industry. This group has since grown to 26K+ members. Headhunted to spearhead a campaign which would open new avenues for Scom PLC in the area of Permanent Recruitment and Staffing. Scom had been active in the International Telecommunications market for two decades, providing contractors (1000+ heads in field), and wanted to create new revenue streams. Clients included startup and publicly quoted businesses in the e-biz, SI, software, OSS/BSS, digital media and semiconductor verticals.
