North Channel Community Rowing (NCCR) is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting diversity and access to the sport of rowing through youth programs targeting under-represented students in Evanston, IL. NCCR aims to cultivate a passion for reaching one’s highest potential through exposure to an exciting sport that instills lifelong values, camaraderie and discipline.

Michael is a senior-level talent management expert with over 20 years of experience assisting clients with organizational development planning and human capital needs. His firm provides talent management consulting services to “C” suite executives, CHRO’s and talent acquisition leaders in growth stage organizations in the upper Midwest.

Co-led firm’s Technology-Enabled Software and Services and Private Equity/Venture Capital practices. Managed and executed 10+ executive recruitment projects annually. Client base a broad mix of private and public companies ranging from high-growth, early stage ventures to Fortune 500 organizations. Executive recruitment work focused primarily on senior-level candidates across the entire “C” suite. Firm’s specialty was consultative, competency-centric approach to partnering with clients from organizational, need development stage through candidate assessment to placement and successful on-boarding of all executives. Also served as firm's Chief Financial Officer.

Responsible for client development and search execution in the firm's technology, private equity/venture capital, and professional service practices. Client assignments included senior-level searches for presidents, chief executive officers, board directors and functional heads of finance, sales, marketing, information technology, and human resources. Managed team of three.

Member of the Advanced Technology and Private Equity practices. Was accountable for new business development and associated revenue generation, maintaining ongoing client relationships, and execution management related to all searches. Was the first hire into the Chicago office’s Advanced Technology Practice, and subsequently helped build the practice to exceed $2.0 million in its first full fiscal year. Played a significant role in recruiting, training and mentoring several new hires into the Chicago office technology team, which at its peak reached ten members.
