I am a managing technologist and business leader with over 25 years of extreme experiences in executive IT management. This was focused in developing and monetizing technology products - building exceptional technology with great cost effectiveness. I've scaled start-up companies to robust mid-size companies and retained their team's entrepreneurial edge using innovative people management techniques/skills - and I've led large, top performing teams, in multi-billion dollar organizations both through complex transformations as the CTO/CIO. My experience has included managing the full range of technical departments, including business bridges such as sales engineering, customer service, project management offices and most importantly product development. I am a named inventor on multiple patents and an early key contributor to core Internet protocols. Most importantly I can distill key technology drivers into product opportunities and align technology teams with business objectives. Business development is a key part of technical leadership and I've written the technical sections of winning multi-million dollar contracts, RFPs, developed in-depth market models for new products, run the technology due diligence on very large deals and been a key contributor in raising financing.
