After over 40 years of dedication to the real estate industry, the name Michael Yerman is synonymous with Baltimore Real Estate. Michael began his professional real estate career in 1974 as president of a real estate development firm that oversaw such Baltimore condominium projects as the St. James, Ruxton Crossing, Stevenson Crossing, The Villages of Homeland and Bedford Commons. Later, Michael’s real estate brokerages represented the developers of the Anchorage Tower, Scarlett Place, The Warrington and Regency Park condominiums among many others. Prior to becoming a founding partner of Yerman Witman Gaines & Conklin Realty in 2007, Michael was an Associate Broker at Long & Foster Realtors and before that, he was a principal and Chief Executive Officer of Meredith Real Estate/Better Homes and Gardens. In addition to his many years of experience and attention to serving his clients, Michael gives back through his industry involvement. He served as president of the Maryland Association of Realtors, the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors, and the Baltimore Corporation for Housing Partnership. Michael also served as a founding trustee of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors Charitable Foundation, an arm of the board that works to enhance neighborhoods and encourage home ownership. Michael has been recognized for his contributions to the industry as the recipient of the 1982 GBBR “Realtor of the Year” Award and the 2005 MAR Life Achievement Award. He has weathered many storms and has always provided his clients with sound advice when buying or selling.
