Hi, I’m Mike. I’m a Full Stack Developer. I’ve spent my career working at small and medium sized design agencies doing work for both startups and enterprise clients. Over the years I’ve helped build a lot of marketing sites and e-commerce stores but these days I’m primarily focused on product development using technologies like React, Node, Express, Postgres and MongoDB.I tend to specialize in front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) doing UI development, so I generally work closely with designers focusing on usability, performance and interaction, but I've also designed REST and GraphQL APIs (Apollo) and have written unit tests (Jest, React Testing Library) as well as end-to-end tests (Cypress).Some of the bigger clients I have done work for include EY, Bell Canada, Rogers, Spotify, ING Canada, The Discovery Channel, The Comedy Network, RBC, MSN, and Bacardi. I am currently focused on learning more TypeScript, keeping up to date with React frameworks, sharpening my ES6 syntax and exploring various browser APIs.
