As a student researcher, I worked with a group on bacteriophage isolation and genetic characterization. Using soil samples, I isolated novel bacteriophage attuned towards host bacteria Arthrobacter Globiformis, using various streaking, plaque assay, and MINI lysate protocols to conduct environmental assays on the physical properties of the virus.
