I regularly assisted departments, programs, and individuals with their website needs. This includes training, providing support, and assisting with the mapping out of their website design and content.I helped create our social network presence on a myriad of websites. I managed the social network presences for Twitter and Facebook during my first year, and I served as an social media advisor for several years. Throughout my years as an advisor and developer of social networking content I've helped oversee contests, develop ad campaigns, and increase overall connectivity to our staff, faculty, students, and community members.Highlights:- Created a mobile front for the University website to ease access of use for mobile users- Worked with numerous conferences and events on-campus to setup and oversee their websites as well as their registration process.- Created UTC's social network presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.- Hosted training classes that helped hundred+ individuals on the use of our content management system OmniUpdate

My tasks included assisting students, faculty, and staff over the phone with various IT issues, helping to store and manage the IT Help database used for recording our users problems and requests, and also going out on calls to assist faculty and staff with any IT needs they may have.

I developed and ran the weekly 2-hour show Tokyo Tower, where, aside from merely playing the music, I acquire resourcefully vasts amounts of various music, develop and maintain social network pages, interview artists and related guests, promote the show and related functions within the community, and attend conventions as press to do on site activities to further develop content for the show.

I help structure, create, and manage content such as panels/events for the Anime track.I assist with acquiring guest for the Anime track, as well as assisting the guest at the event itself with their specific needs.

I assisted with the procurement/handling of guests, general PR, along with other staffing needs before and during the event.

I had the pleasure to work with Dr. Meier, Ben Hughes, and Will Christopher on a number of different projects. Highlights: Assisted with the development of a digital GIS map measuring the riparian corridor along Kentucky streams. These maps were created to help with a state watershed restoration program. Assisted with the development of a map for WKU's nature preserve. Assisted with a map measuring watershed flow for the west Kentucky water basins. Won 1st place prize, along with my co-workers and Dr. Meier, for poster submitted to the 2006 International Society for Environmental Information Sciences conference.

I joined the magazine in its infancy, and in my time I assisted with both the content development, as a entertainment writer with a focus on feature articles with various artists and bands and a political blogger, and management of the site and team. After a short time I was promoted to Assistant Managing Editor and I was able to, while still maintaining my previous duties, assist with the administrative side by spearheading the hiring process for new IT web assistance, as well as lending my time and skills to organize the various directions and interests of our staff before each issue, and likewise helping the section editors, writers, and photographers, by assisting and following each issue through to its completion.I worked in Drupal 5, where I added and edited content, as well as trained writers in the use of the site.

I would DJ in the fall and spring, while also assisting with live remotes across campus. In my final year, I helped develop what would become a fill-in specialty show called The Magical Mystery Tour where myself and 3 co-hosts would entertain our audience with eclectic music, from 60's to modern indie tracks, and also equally diverse topics of conversation.

Developed maps to support the creation of the Erlanger Stroke Center

With this position I became introduced to being in radio, and I would DJ a couple hours every week playing the format music (college/alternative) while also handling any requests that would be called in by listeners mid-show.

Used ArcGIS to collect and convert demographic data to maps to assist with the development of an interactive recruitment network for improved student recruiting.

In this position, I was introduced to the world of GIS, through the continual use of ESRI's ArcView product. Specifically, my official tasks included assisting with the printing of maps for customers, digitizing an older paper evacuation map into the computer, and also quality checking a significant portion of the vast address database the county had recently developed.

I assisted with general web development. Additionally, I helped develop excel work sheets for program evaluation relating to the Continuing Medical Education conferences put on by Erlanger. During these conferences, I also assisted with audio-visual support.

Our job tasks included such items as: construction and development of backyard patios, chemically spraying fertilizers, fungicides, and herbicides, planting and/or removing trees and shrubs, as well as assisting with long term planning for the customer's lawn care.

Worked during the summers to sort and file sheet music for the concert and jazz bands. Created a simple system for tracking sheet music using Excel.

I assisted in the development of video production, including on site video capturing, and I also developed web pages for the Business and Information Systems Division.
