My Web Application Skills include, but are not limited to ASP.NET C#, MVC, Web Forms,API, Azure. DevOps, LINQ, Entity Framework, Python, jQuery, AJAX, Android Development, TSQL/SQL Server, CSS, Ninject, JSON, JavaScript Frameworks, XML, Web Services, Visual StudioI've always enjoyed problem solving, troubleshooting, statistics, coding, fishing, hockey, the outdoors and nature. As a kid I was introduced to programming on my brother's Commodore 64. I found it rewarding to be creative and create programs with code. Later on as an adult I ended up realizing I learned best by studying on my own and being self taught, just like when I sat down with a book and that Commodore 64. As opportunities continued to present themselves in my career, I took advantage by learning what I needed to in order to advance myself. I've learned some of my personal traits I have applied to coding are being meticulous, paying attention to details, getting things right the first time, being creative and using my problem solving skills. My goal everyday as a web developer is to create web apps that aren't buggy and easy to test while providing an intuitive and practical interface for the user.My favorite activity is fishing and I have tried to marry my skills as a developer with my passion to create a web and mobile app that utilizes statistics to make anglers better fishermen. In the process it has given me a good platform for continued learning and keeping up with the newer technologies. My other loves are pets, nature, the outdoors and hockey. They all provide a nice balance to my to my life. Even as an adult I am fascinated by bugs, animals. My love of hockey, especially the NHL was nurtured by watching my brother 5 years my senior play hockey when I was a kid. Even though I never played organized hockey, I have played in a few adult leagues and hope to take it up again soon.
