I have come across the opportunity to act as Team Lead in the development team shortly after joining the firm and decided to take on the challenge. With that, it also pushed me more towards Python and Data Engineering. My main responsibilities are:- Overseeing the development of Bizzflow - a Python based open-source ETL tool, native to all clouds, that allows data analysts to harness the power of Apache Ariflow without having to interact with it directly- Development of custom solutions for clients - most recent success is migrating a long-term-client’s BI solution away from Keboola to a self-hosted stack using Meltano, DBT and Airflow, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure (GCP) and CI/CD, making the pipelines more reliable, adding DQA checks and decreasing the costs nearly ten-fold.- Development of custom connectors and pipelines in Airflow- Leading the team, managing workloads and driving innovations- Support of sales activities- Acting as Level 2 support on client projects as well as internal support of data analysts in technical matters

The next step. As a data analyst, my main responsibilities were:- Development of data pipelines using Bizzflow (our own ETL - an Apache Airflow based SDK) and Keboola- Development of custom components for the above ETL solutions- Creating dashboards in PowerBI and Tableau- Project management

A career starter. A lot of process modelling using BPMN, enterprise architecture with Sparx Enterprise Architect, some IT due dilligence for mainly enterprise-level clients all across the spectrum with a drizzle of public sector.
