Appleseeds Academy operates to reduce the social gaps by providing advanced educational and technological skills amongst lower-class populations. As a Project manager, I was responsible for creating, managing and coordinating technological-educational programs in cooperation with strategic partners such as Google, Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, The Ministry of Social Affairs, The National Insurance and more. Main Projects:- Responsible for the overall operation of thirty-five community centres and youth villages for youth at risk all over Israel. These projects and activities have included setting up a computerized infrastructure and operating three-year social-technological training programs. - Managed a vast educational operation in cooperation with Intel in more than thirty primary schools.- Operated a volunteer Project as part of a National Service Program.Main Responsibilities:- Responsible for end-to-end delivery. From planning to developing, and implementing different aspects of the project, while achieving the project's targets and providing suitable solutions.- Budget structure built and management of over £1,000,000. - Liaised with the relevant units of strategic corporate partners and governmental organizations such as: Google, Microsoft, Intel, Cisco and more.- Acted as a team leader of over thirty-five professional coordinators, instructors and volunteers.- HR responsibilities: Managed all recruiting processes including interviewing candidates and managing the induction process of new employees.- Was responsible for locating future project’s funding and the submission of grant requests.- Managed and monitored internal and external evaluation processes. - Pedagogy and training - implementation of training, professional development of the project's contents in cooperation with the training development team, creating and leading key activities in the organization. - Managed the social media presence of the projects.
