Hilton Cloud 9 Sky Bar & Lounge - The Taste of Heaven on Earth with innovative and award-winning cocktails.Tasks/Responsibilities:- bar set-up,- meeting with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations,- welcoming the guests and escorting them to their table,- informing customers about the day’s specials,- taking the orders using a POS ordering software,- checking customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages,- cocktails preparation,- communicating order details to the kitchen staff,- providing friendly, efficient and quick service to clients,- actively seeking verbal feedback from customers on a regular basis,- implementing actions to make improvements to customer service,- making sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively,- up-selling additional products when appropriate,- handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register,- maintaining in-depth technical knowledge and skills required for the job,- taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar is well-stocked,- developing new cocktail recipes.
