My task was to build an IT department of 20 people, prepared for scaling the company’s services. This means that IT costs will grow significantly slower than the services provided to all companies within the holding. My personal goal was to create an IT system that can operate without the CIO’s leadership or any staff. This allows us to guarantee services.

I was responsible for the development of internal back-office systems, both for the architecture and project management. We successfully implemented shared microservices, messaging, and a data warehouse for internal IT systems.

My task was to migrate all ATA on-premise products to the AWS cloud. Previously, each consultant had to run the whole ecosystem on their own laptop before offering it to clients. Now, they can use a pre-configured environment in the cloud, which later becomes the customer's environment. This has reduced the time to market for delivering customized solutions.

I delivered various solutions primarily for telecommunications companies. Together with a colleague, we provided a wholesale billing solution (AWSB) that the customer still uses today. The solution was highly performant, elastic, and has survived more than three acquisitions.

I was responsible for a private trading system GlobalDAT for the NYSE, which was built entirely from scratch for an American investor. The system enabled portfolio management for both private investors and investment firms.

I worked on an existing system (IVAN) that allowed banks to trade on the Prague Stock Exchange. I was the author of the system for evaluating capital adequacy.
