Delivery Manager

In this role, I've been fully responsible for one of the key customer engagements. My role was evolving, transitioning from hands-on delivery in collaboration with customer Product Managers, to coordination of several delivery streams and ensuring project governance. Throughout, I collaborated closely with the customer C-level executives to align with their goals.The engagement started in a single location with 5 engineers and expanded within 2 years into over 100 FTE across multiple locations (teams delivering from Poland, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Mexico, and other locations).Delivery Management related challenges included among others: building and developing customer relations, organization of delivery governance, building relationships with the customer stakeholders, building Epam delivery teams (defining requirements, hiring, onboarding, succession planning), supporting team agile processes, escalation management, reporting on the delivery progress.Deliverables included: refactoring of legacy applications, cloud transition, agile transformation, the introduction of a DevOps mindset, portfolio governance organization, and development of new applications and services.Beyond the account-related responsibilities, I actively engaged in global processes for title promotions of other Delivery Managers, facilitated the implementation of best practices at the Gdansk location, and provided support to Epam's Delivery organization in Poland.
