I was always very interested in digital graphics of any kind. I have personal and also a little bit of professional experience with photo and video creation and postprocessing. I went through many different postprocessing software such as Movie Maker, Sony Vegas, Power Director and of course Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop. I learned everything by myself, from Youtube tutorials or just experimenting. I was participating in many public presentations, film festivals and competitions, meeting professionals, directors and other hobby filmmakers and also won a few rewards. I have also experiences with web design such as HTML and CSS coding and Wordpress platform.During my university studies in System Engineering, which was focused on Marketing and Management, I spent a summer internship at one of the fastest-growing tour agencies in Iceland. The company was known as Extreme Iceland, which was later changed to Arctic Adventures and today operates as Adventures.com. I was part of the Marketing department and took care of all multimedia. I captured pictures, videos and operated the drone, did all postprocessing and editing to make sure that the company will have the best advertising videos possible. I was offered a full-time position after my internship, but unfortunately, I had to go back to the Czech Republic to finish university. After my studies, we moved with my partner to New Zealand for a while and then to Iceland again to get different experiences from different places and meet different people. In March 2020 we came to Canada for another experience, but had no idea what will happen. Right after we arrived Covid hits the world. My partner was able to find a job after a few months while I was still waiting for my work permit to be processed, which took 11 months. Since then I am working for Trilink Management in Canmore. Currently, I hold the position of Houseman / Maintenance Supervisor. Unfortunately, the conditions in Trilink started to be unfair for those who are on Employer-specific work permits and can't leave anywhere, which was also my situation until recently when I got my Permanent Residency. It means to me that it's time for change and be creative again.
