I've been working in software testing for over 10 years now. Apart from rich experience with various kinds of testing (manual, functional, non-functional, factory acceptance, performance, user/operational acceptance) my strengths are in delivery, deployment and integration. I like to travel, meet the customers and install the solution on their site and integrate with existing systems. I also occasionally worked on the localization of video games.I am quick to adapt to new challenges, I am independent and unafraid of responsibility, I have a natural tendency to optimize, streamline, consolidate and improve. This recently manifested as a deep interest in test automation and agile methodologies. In Thales, on my own initiative and from scratch, I started test automation of an Angular application using Protractor. It was fun and engaging work, but after a few months I was transferred to other project, which was intriguing in its own right. I had the opportunity there to do factory acceptance testing and sizeable and intricate performance testing.In the end the pull towards test automation won over, which brought me back to NCR. This was testing of an Android point-of-sale application using Cucumber, TypeScript and Appium in an agile environment.
