Day-to-day coordination of of volunteers working for HFH Gliwice. Coordination of Global Village hosting program – from planing, budgeting, through ensuring all HFH International standards are meet, to reporting. Organization and coordination of special events. Local support to National Office Communications and Resource Development managers in developing newsletters, press releases, partnership proposals etc. and managing relationships with supporters. Local media relations, work with journalists visiting local projects (including TV crews). Preparation of promotional materials, orientation of volunteers. Supporting Site Supervisor in implementation of Health and Safety standards, training of construction professionals in working with volunteers. Liaising between international and corporate partners and local community.In 2009 received Gliwice Mayor's Award for Most Volunteer Friendly Organization.Major corporate partners I've directly worked with include Whirlpool, Credit Suisse, Consolis, General Motors, FluorIn April 2015 HfH Glivice merged with HfH Poland and my contract continued under national organization.
