After exciting eight years with Colin Buchanan, SKM and Jacobs, I am currently providing independent traffic engineering and modelling skills for both private and public sector clients. The current assignment is to provide modelling support Transport for London in their central London operation area by assisting in scheme feasibility, consultations and approval processes.

Becoming integral part of Transport for London team I quickly got involved in signal timings assessment of over 1100 signal which needed to be changed prior to Olympics as well as he attended number of workshops and stakeholders meetings with Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) discussing and advising on journey time implication. The scale of consultation covered everything from signals suspension/ banned turns, suggested diversion routes, to vehicle screening points’ location and their detailed operation in vicinity of Olympic venues. Additionally I liaised with lead designers on changes to number of junctions' signal operation including the suggested Olympic lane locations and their operation details. My area of responsibly was a corridor in west London along M4/A4 up to central London plus Earls Court Olympic Venue – home of volleyball competition. Whilst working on Olympics I also gained the unique experience of facilitating, for the first time in such a scale, recently developed VISSIM –UTC interface. This allowed for all Olympic Routes to be modelled and tested using UTC (Urban Traffic Control) data. The UTC to VISSIM application uses offline copy of on street signal operation settings to replicate real time operation for purposes of modelling.After successful two years on secondment in Transport for London I am currently back to SKM ready to share the knowledge and skills he gained whilst working on Olympics.

Inn 2009 I seconded to Transport for London to assist in preparations for the Olympic Games in 2012. I was responsible for the development of base models using TRANSYT and LINSIG at various locations within the ORN (Olympic Route Network) and have built up a thorough understanding of the ORN Modelling Methodology. I was responsible for collecting all the required validation data, organising additional support staff when necessary and reporting on a weekly basis to the ORN team project managers. I was based at TfL throughout his secondment, liaising closely with TfL TD UTC team members and familiarising himself with TfL software, ensuring models were completed to schedule and to a high standard
