This effort enhanced code maintainability and improved overall system performance.Transition from SOAP to REST: Recognizing the benefits of RESTful architecture, I successfully led the migration process by replacing the SOAP API with REST. This transition not only streamlined communication between services but also resulted in a reduction of codebase across other services that relied on the refactored one.Monolithic Application Maintenance: As part of my responsibilities, I diligently maintained a monolithic Java web application along with its accompanying test suite. This involved ensuring system stability, implementing enhancements, and resolving any issues that arose.Test Coverage Enhancement: With a focus on quality assurance, I proactively increased test coverage in legacy code areas.
