For more than 11 years I have been advising entrepreneurs on tax law. My strong point is strategic thinking - I do not limit myself to answering the client's question, I try to look at the problem from a wider perspective. Often this allows me to work out a new, creative approach to the subject and to find an optimal solution. Together with the client I design the structure of a company or a capital group, the elements of the transaction or an investment. My passion is supporting entrepreneurs in tax audits. I believe that a taxpayer during tax audit should not behave passively, but should actively formulate arguments and present all available evidence. I do so and it brings results at later stages of the case. I am pleased to have the opportunity to present our arguments before the court - especially when we have already prepared a solid and convincing evidence and argumentation in the case before tax authorities.Each company is different, each client has a different personality. However, more and more often the common denominator of entrepreneurs' needs is legal security (including tax security!). I do realize these priorities. I develop and implement compliance procedures: on withholding tax (WHT), tax arrangements (MDR) and due diligence in VAT. I conduct tax audits. Everything follows the principle - prevention is better than cure. An important element of my work is to work on tax incentives stemming from the innovativeness of Polish entrepreneurs. I examine the possibilities of implementing such tax instruments as R&D relief or IP Box regime. Apart from tax practice, I also work as an associate professor at the Department of Tax Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz. I am the author of several dozen publications on taxes and tax law. I am a member of the Polish branch of the International Fiscal Association and a member of the board of the Scientific Tax Association.
