Professionally I work as a Permanent Supportive Housing Case Manager in a company that enhances the availability of Foundational Community Supports. Previously I worked as a behavior technician providing ABA and SBT. Along with that I volunteered for two years as a youth mentor at a non profit focused on engaging with youth through animal based therapy approaches. I currently volunteer as a certified crisis counselor for Crisis Text Line, and have been doing so for almost 3 years.I am experienced in de-escalation and diffuse of high pressure situations, as well as assisting those experiencing mental health crises come back to a safe, cool calm. Educational research focused on mental health, homelessness, child development, recidivism, and at risk youth.I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to feel seen, heard and supported. I am passionate about meaningful work in which I can be involved in my community and use my skills and knowledge to uplift those around me.
