I am a passonate educator. Sharing my experience and knowledge with peers and with our young people is where I get the greatest joy and it has been through education and sport that I have been able to gain this intrinsic satisfaction.I have been lucky to wear many hats as I have sought to grow myself, having had opportunities as a Head of Faculty for Technology, multiple terms as a Dean looking after the pastoral needs of students, Acting Assistant Principal on a couple of occasions, Contributor and collabrator on several initiative and work streams for the Ministry of Education, marking for NZQA and have lead NZGTTA (New Zealand Graphics & Technology Teachers Association) for over seven years as we have navigated the challenges of going from a representative platform to one of holding significant contracts with the MoE as a provider of professional development for the sector and developer of resources. Certainly this experience and exposure has lead to me meeting wonderful like minded people and organisations as well as giving me a great overview of many facets of education and how they all interconnect.
