He holds advanced economics, political science, and urban development degrees from prestigious institutions across Lebanon and France.As a Public Policy Advisor and Urban Economist, Michel has played key roles in major economic and urban development projects with well-known organizations such as the UN, the World Bank, AFD, and government bodies across the MENA region and beyond. His work covers important areas, including public policy, institutional analysis, and socio-economic reform.As a Governance & Reforms Specialist and Strategy Consultant, Michel has led projects to improve national and regional development strategies. As an Economist and Governance Specialist at AFD, he evaluated and advised on major reform projects in Lebanon, including the Public Procurement Reform, CEDRE Conference, Beirut Port Restoration, and other economic and financial reforms.Michel's deep understanding of economic systems and ability to include socio-economic factors in urban planning and public policy have been key to his leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
