I am the founder, owner and director of Ideos Communications Ltd, a Public Relations and Communications company from the Republic of Mauritius. Our services include consultancy, editorial services, media relations and events concept and management. We serve major Mauritian companies and groups as well as the local offices of ACCA and Red Bull.More than 25 years of experience in the communications field (as a journalist, communications manager and freelance PR specialist), proficiency in French and English, a BSc (Hons.) in Communications as well as an inquisitive and critical mind and good interpersonal skills have enhanced my capacity for delivery of consultancy and project implementation services to Ideos Communications’ past and present portfolio of clients. The latter comprises of highly reputable medium to big-sized Mauritian and international organisations from the fields of accountancy and finance, advertising, aviation, beverages, hospitality, IT solutions, logistics, luxury goods, real estate, telecommunications and video production, as well as major Mauritian conglomerates. Strong editorial skills in French and English as well as attention to detail and an expert eye for layout have been key abilities in my position as freelance editor or copywriter (in English and French) for several corporate and lifestyle magazines and other publications - including for ENL Group, Medine Group, PONCINI, Terra Group and Beachcomber.
