About Michel Leroux

My laboratory is interested in cilia, the sensory organelles implicated in sensory physiology and cellular signalling, as well as the biogenesis and function of the eukaryotic cytoskeleton. We use C. elegans and mammalian cells or mice as model systems, and employ a variety of disciplines for our research, including molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, genomics, biochemistry, etc. Our work has important implications for numerous human disorders, such as kidney disease, obesity, developmental defects, cancer, and other ailments.
