In my role I am responsible for new and refurbishment projects of Loading Systems for Ship, Road and Rail transports. Some of our customers are; Shell, VOPAK, Q8, ExxonMobil, BP and Odfjell to name a few.I am responsible for preparing and costing proposals to our customers, evaluate received bid requests and orders whilst maintaining professional contacts with our customers, our suppliers and our subcontractors.During execution of the projects I am responsible to ensure that that the projects are completed in a safe and timely manner, within budget and within the set quality parameters. We achieved this by providing safe working conditions whilst maintaining a healthy working relationship with the client as well as the workforce, both at our factory and on location at the client.At all times we prepared site specific Safety Procedures and Quality Procedures in line with Industry Standards and the customers’ expectations.

Preparing and providing English language skills classes for groups of students from a broad spectrum of society, such as primary school pupils, high school students as well as adult students and company representatives. At all times I would maintain and report progress to the students and their peers. I was also able to prepare task specific programs for our students and prepare extra-curricular activities as required.

Responsible for preparing and ordering materials and equipment for construction and maintenance projects within the Heineken Rotterdam Brewery in Zoeterwoude.Maintaining a registry of all equipment and material data sheets and preparing Manufacturing Data Books including Material Certificates, Non Destructive Tests Reports. Preparing documentation to obtain Third Party Inspection Certificates for pressure retaining systems.During the execution phase of the projects I maintained the site administration for safety, quality, progress and costs and had a leadership role in preparing and presenting toolbox talks.

In my role as Assistant Project Manager, at the Van Ommeren Tank Terminal at Rotterdam Botlek, I was responsible site administration and preparing daily and weekly progress reports. In my role as Work Planner I was responsible for preparing and planning work packs in line with client requirements and HSE and Quality Procedures, ensuring that all materials, equipment, tools and correct manpower were listed to complete the tasks.

In this period I was trained in all aspects of project execution, such as Mechanical Fitter, Fire Watch and Store keeping. The activities took place on various location in and near Rotterdam, The Netherlands as well as at our Main Office.This training enabled me to develop skills which allowed me to grow into roles such as Foreman, work planner, calculator, draftsman, and coordinating roles for Safety, Scaffolding and Quality.
