About Michel Smit

I'm an entrepreneur from Rotterdam, Holland and a self-called ‘cultural developer’. I founded my first company called ‘Cultural Development BV’ in 2000. And it has always been my aim to initiate, realize and manage cultural projects. My first success came when my partners and I opened the multimedia club ‘Off Corso’ in 2001. Off Corso became iconic in the Dutch club scene for its view on creative clubbing. From there on the dance- and club scene have been a very big part of my professional live. Since April 2007 I am the CEO of Energy Floors. A company whose mission it is to help speed up the energy transition.
