In my function as Application Design Engineer I support the ASIC design team with the development of test and demo applications. In this role I design both hardware and software. The software ranges from embedded in microcontrollers to Graphical User Interfaces and automation of the lab.Project examples:-LED driver PCB in Eagle-ICP (In Circuit Programmer) PCB in Eagle-C++ Qt application to interact wit ICP-LED dimmer firmware (Microchip PIC16)-Generic Lab Automation software in Python (PyQt) to replace Labview-C++ Qt applications to assist in design calculations (e.g. for a Switch Mode Power Supply Design)Next to that as a hobby I'm designing a radar sensor application consisting of the following parts:-Off the shelf radar module with custom controller PCB in Altium-Microchip dsPIC33E to control the application and process data innterfacing with USB-C# GUI to visualize data and control the application (currently transferring to C++ Qt application)
