I am a goal-oriented, self-disciplined, honors college student completing a combined Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Master's of Art in Special Education. Skilled and experienced as a direct care provider with a passion for providing care to individuals with special needs and developmental disabilities. Patient, compassionate, and dedicated to children; possessing over ten years of experience in caregiving, childcare, and tutoring. Avid health, fitness, and nutrition expert with seven years of bodybuilding experience. A natural-born leader eager to inspire others in both academic and fitness worlds. I have worked as a nanny and caregiver most of my life. Since I was a little girl, I have been caring for the needs of my sister who was born with severe special needs categorized under Cerebral Palsy. Utilizing skills through one on one care for a child with infantile needs such as bathing, changing diapers, feeding, and administering medication. I have also taken care of numerous families with children ranging from age 2 up to age 12. Exhibiting skills such as cooking, cleaning, tutoring, and transporting children to and from school and daily extracurricular activities for up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. As part of my student teaching in fieldwork hours in accordance with my courseload, I have also worked as a teacher assistant at the Paterson Elementary School, PS-28 with second graders, and the Passaic Arts and Science Charter School with first graders. Exhibiting skills such as teaching content areas in mathematics, reading, and language arts while additionally serving as both a mentor and role model for young school children. While working towards and finalizing my Bachelor's Degree n Elementary Education, I worked as a student teacher where I taught 4th grade Special Education alongside my cooperating teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School in Hawthorne, NJ. I additionally work as a model signed with the MMG New York City agency. Exhibiting skills in time-sensitive situations such as effective communication, punctuality and cultivating strong networking connections in the realm of professional production.
