In this volunteer role, I send a personalized card to an illness community member monthly. Cards2Warriors is a volunteer organization that sends personalized messages to people struggling with health issues. Unfortunately, those of us with health issues frequently get bills in the mail, which can lead to dreading the mail. Cards2Warriors seeks to help that dread by sending bright cards with letters tailored to the person's interests and needs.

In this volunteer role, I support fellow dysautonomia patients by managing the Dysautonomia Support Network Inspire group. Duties of this role: •Post twice weekly on Inspire, a health and wellness support group site similar to Facebook groups. •Prepare posts in bulk and mark with dates for easy posting. •Interact with group members by providing support and resources. •Utilize Canva and Google Suite for content.Dysautonomia is "an umbrella term used to describe disorders that affect the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system (ANS) controls the body’s involuntary, automatic functions like heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, temperature regulation, and pupil response." (Definition from Dysautonomia Support Network). POTS is a common complication of Long COVID, and it can be caused by a variety of triggers and conditions.

In this role, I taught students history one-on-one and adapted the curriculum to match the needs and interests of each individual student.Duties of This Role: • Adapted the curriculum and resources to match the needs and interests of each individual student. • Executed students’ unique education plans and collaborated with all stakeholders. • Completed daily lesson notes for parents and administrators to read. • Implemented performance feedback quickly and incorporated new knowledge into daily work. • Managed creating personalized lessons, grading, and documenting progress for multiple students each week.

In this role, I co-taught 8th grade US History to complete a full-time internship. This internship was a graduation and a certification requirement in the State of Florida. In this role, I substituted for absent employees at an after school enrichment program. I was unable to work the full school week at this job due to my class schedule. Duties of This Role: • Responsible for safety and well-being of K-12 students during outdoor time, snack, homework, enrichment activity, and dismissal. • Worked with a variety of age groups from diverse backgrounds to support interpersonal skills and help with homework.

In this role, I was an assistant to the administrators of a summer camp. Duties of This Role: • Learned a new technology platform and learned to use it with high efficiency. • Completed reference checks and other administrative tasks. • Coordinated with summer camp counselors and administrators.• Maintained master attendance list to ensure camper safety. • Provided emotional support to struggling campers. • Supervised campers.

In this role, I tutored a 4th grade Korean student with mid-level English proficiency. This was a requirement for my TSL 4324: ESOL Instruction class. Duties of This Role: • Focused on building vocabulary, pronunciation, and literacy skills through journaling, readings, and guided practice. • Modeled and scaffolded grammar lessons until the student was able to create, interpret, and correct complex sentences.• Utilized a variety of online resources to support instruction.• Set up and ran weekly Zoom meetings independently and coordinated with the student's parents.

In this role, I worked with Customer Service managers to provide financial services, ensure quality work by the Customer Service department team, and maintained cleanliness of the store. Duties of This Role: • Provided quality customer service while maximizing efficiency and reducing wait times.• Coached less experienced employees on proper technique and customer service skills at one of the busiest stores in the district. •Counted the store safe with $15,000+ of cash, lottery tickets, and checks. • Provided services such as check-cashing, lottery tickets, Western Union, and selling tobacco products
