Michela D'angelo is an emerging designer-maker who founded the Mida-lab atelier in Sectie-c in Eindhoven, where she began her artistic production in 2021. In her training, she acquired specific expertise in materials such as ceramics, glass, rattan, recycled plastics, fabrics, steel, bronze, and aluminum. A practical training of experiences with local craftsmen in Italy, Spain, France, Peru, and the Netherlands, where she collaborated for 5 years with Nacho Carbonell studio’s artist in Eindhoven.She creates a variety of unique pieces, suspended in a surreal atmosphere, between the world of materials, plants, animals, and the human world. The project revolves around the idea that craftsmen are shaped by objects as much as they shape them.
