Michel Amaral has over 27 years of experience in Software Development. He has worked on several projects such as ERP for Public Management, used by hundreds of Brazilian municipalities, and Cooperative for large companies such as Johnson & Johnson, besides having created products for startups in the areas of health and insurance and acted for two years as CTO of VIK, a health platform focused on generating quality of life, engagement, and better results for the company’s employees. Michel was the leader at the Google Developers Group in Vale do Paraíba, co-leader at the Google Business Group and is currently one of the leaders at IxDA São José dos Campos, a global organization dedicated to the discipline of interaction design. Michel is currently CEO and founder of Designa, a company specialized in Software Development using agile methods. At Andela, he is an Engineer Manager responsible for the development of the Client Portal and Andela Pay platform. Passionate about agile methods, Michel is an eternal learner and one of the organizers of several startup events, having the opportunity to participate in the MVP of startup Buser.
