In 2014-2015 I was team member of the project group responsible for the organization of the first Autminds (www.autminds.nl). During the actual event Autminds 2015 I presided the day.At the moment I am still actively involved as chairman of the Autminds foundation.

As an "actually autistic" person I am very much interested in reasons why persons with autism have such big problems getting and keeping a job. Compared to normal (neurotypical) persons with unemployment rates or 6.9 %, disabled persons with 13.0 %, persons with autism have unemployment rates of 65 %. During my research I want to find causes for these differences, and offer solutions for persons with autism who want to work.

I am developing TimeKeeper, a Java application, a time registration tool for project activities. The time data can be used to create invoices for clients (for self-employed workers) or record project progress.I also write about business on my blog at http://www.hermod.nl

After obtaining the ISO certification it was important that the processes were adhered to. The processes had to be audited regularly by personnel with a special audit training. As lead auditor I was responsible for the planning and monitoring of the audits. I also audited processes, and was audited as process owner (Problem Management).

ZXFactory started a project to obtain the ISO 9001:2008 certificate. Inside the project my task was describing processes used inside the organisation. In brown paper sessions I interviewed process owners about their processes. These interviews resulted in business processes. In January 2009 ZXFactory received its certificate.

ZXFactory is an organisation that manages complex computer systems of other organisations. In the management of these computer systems they use a self developed system controlling their state. This computer systems uses HTML pages to display information about the health of the managed systems. My first task was the development of a system in Java which displayed the state of the customer systems dynamically. Using information in the form of an RSS feed I translated state information into a set of traffic lights for customer systems needing attention.

Hermod was a company aimed at developing an car navigation system using locations of mobile network radio stations. This project ended as I had trouble finding funding.

I started working as an ABAP/4 development consultant. But after a few projects work dried up. I was asked to help set up mySAP Enterprise Portals as a new service for CMG. I was responsible for setting up the development environment for iView Portlets. An iView is a an independent (Java) application in a browser, with the Enterprise Portal as the central hub making information from multiple sources available in an easy to use manner.

CMG sold products enabling mobile messaging software to mobile telephone companies over the world. I worked a year as customer support representative for the Cell Broadcast Center product. In the second year I participate in a CMM improvement project. I was process engineer and worked on "Project Tracking and Oversight" processes. After that I was responsible for functional management of project planning and oversight tool.
