I'm currently responsible for safety, facility and logistics at Limagrain Belgium, the Belgian division of the French seed company Limagrain Group. With past experience in operations and IT, my main focus is project management in various domains. With a human approach I support the transition from opportunity based decisions to a strategy with solid processes to empower a vision.Within Limagrain Belgium I've been responsible to help in a strategic transition. As such, I was lead in the transition of our own warehousing and transport to a 3PL. Furthermore I assisted the board with the sales of the old plant, was part of the management team to look for and negotiate on a new plant location. I was the project manager for the new build-to-suit site within group budget. To organise investments for new machines and the move of old machines, I teamed up with the production manager to optimise the process.While not being an engineer, I have some strengths that I've experienced to be useful in an organisation :- partnering with all stakeholders to engage in transitions, to translate their hopes, wishes and uncertainties into parts of the process;- knowledge of the reality of operations (not just the theory of what they should be); - the human factor in a large projects in order to translate the process into a language for all stakeholders, wether it be financial, technical, timelines, operational, ...- driven to identify an issue and create a solution that is long-term by nature, short-term when needed;- coordinator for projects, with clear overview of timeline and budget, keeping all partners involved and engaged;- bring the needed experts to the table, while screening for the right talents for the job and the team;- quality minded: the quality of a project is not just measured by deadline, cost and profit, but even more by aftercare, sustainability, future-proof, and long-term relationships;-safety minded : when safety is considered from within your design, it will reduce overhead in a later stage, and accelerate safety thinking within the organisation, and help to create a better wellbeing for colleagues.When I can be an added value for you or your organisation, why not just have a talk ?
