Michel Burger is the CTO of mimik since 2018. He is responsible for the definition, implementation, and deployment of the platform, back-end services, and APIs to support the edge engine and the solutions mimik provides. Michel Burger is also the advisor CTO of H2Wellness to provide the architecture, the back-end systems, and APIs for a wellness platform.Prior to joining mimik, Michel Burger was the CTO of NantMobile, lead architect for the service providers and IOT at Apigee, Head of Architecture for Vodafone Internet Services with the responsibility of managing the end to end architecture to deliver digital services within Vodafone operating companies. In 2011, Michel became a Vodafone distinguished engineer and was appointed Chief Architect for the R&D division in Vodafone Technology to define the next generation cloud service platform for Vodafone.Prior to joining Vodafone, Michel was the CTO of the Communications Sector at Microsoft (creating a product called CSF for Communication Service Provider and defining the service delivery environment for Microsoft Online Services), CTO at Embrace Networks (a M2M company) and director of innovation at Sapient (focusing on pervasive systems and web services). He also spent 12 years in a variety of technical positions at Nortel Networks, including Web technology pioneer. In addition, Michel has been granted 12 patents on various technology domains and is a distinguished fellow at the TeleManagement Forum since 2015.
