I have been in engineering management, particularly software engineering management, my entire career. I experienced different working environments ranging from startup and small companies to large-scale commercial software corporations while wearing several hats (founder of a startup, programmer, program manager and engineering manager). This combination has allowed me to build a unique experience and skill set.In my last role at Conduent, I worked in the Worker Compensation and Casualty Claims Solution BU, where I orchestrated the migration to hybrid Scaled Agile, improved BU capability maturity, and contributed to Conduent PMO best practices. As a Scum Master I led onshore and offshore teams of more than 40 people to enhance the SaaS platform and modernize the UI/UX, build new products, and migrate the on-premise software to MS Azure Cloud.Previously, I worked at Rockwell Automation as Program Manager leading cross-functional international teams building Industrial Automation software and deploying project management processes and tools in 6 R&D centers around the world.As a player, I always valued transparency and communication to build trust and enable quick decisions. As a manager, I empowered and trusted people to motivate and create accountability.If you catch me outside of work, I’ll probably be around a body of water either sailing, windsurfing, fishing or kayaking – or traveling guided by food discovery!I recently launched Athena Consulting Services with focus on helping startups as well as in Global 500 companies to deliver best in class software products with change management initiatives including Process Improvements, Agile Transformation and Agile Team Coaching, and overall Program and Project Management.
