I transitioned back into the role I held previously with the company that requires significantly less travel than the VP role. In my capacity, I deliver leadership in the areas of quality management, regulatory compliance, clinical auditing, and in-servicing for 11 clinics throughout South Carolina. I oversaw all operations ($15M operating budget) conducted across 11 clinics and two nursing homes spread over three states, with each unit never failing to meet or exceed all financial objectives established by corporate leadership during my tenure. I continually trained, coached, and optimized the performance of 200+ clinical and technical team members, both staff and managers, while improving the culture across the territory and driving aggregate retention rates to the highest achieved in years for the territory. Major contributions included: Achieving three deficiency free Government Compliance surveys through 2017 and 2018.Succeeding in delivering some of the lowest hospitalization, readmission, transfusion, and mortality rates companywide including exceptional results for vascular fistulas and central venous catheters. Leading the Regional Managers and support team to achieve major improvements in multiple areas including:Significantly improving Governmental Survey results as a result of reducing deficiencies by 40%;Increasing Vascular Catheter rates by 20% throughout the entire Region;Increasing the number of four and five Medicare STAR rated clinics by 15%;Improving Regional staff productivity by an average of 0.15 hours per treatment slashing Regional costs by over $560K annually;Enhancing Regional supply cost management by an average of $0.50 per treatment to generate another $70K in annual savings;Improving staff involuntary turnover to 4% from 3% the previous year and patient satisfaction CAHPS Survey Top Box scores by 3% from year to year.Spearheading the launch of a de novo clinic in just six weeks and achieving a deficiency free initial Governmental Survey despite the compressed timeline in getting the clinic up and running.

As such, I played a key role in delivering significant improvements in clinical and financial outcomes across the region. Key contributions included: Conducting comprehensive annual internal audits and developed highly effective plans of correction that directly led to significant improvements in Governmental Compliance survey results.Orchestrating quarterly staff education meetings to review new policies and develop plans to address issues encountered by clinics both individually and regionally.Delivering key laboratory outcome support that enhanced vascular access and dialysis outcomes.

I was promoted to take lead in the areas of clinical education and quality management, working in close partnership with both corporate and local clinic management, physicians, & clinicians to incorporate strategies to improve clinical outcomes and financial performance across the region. I also completed annual internal audits of 12 clinics and implemented comprehensive plans of action to ensure each clinic was Government Compliance survey ready. Other major contributions included: Organizing and facilitating Dialysis Education classes each quarter for new direct patient care staff, which directly led to a reduction in staff turnover and improved quality of patient care.Collaborating with a team of experts to train the regional staff on using a new Electronic Medical Record (Falcon) system.Being a Key member of the leadership team that rolled out corporate initiatives and delivered training to ensure regional clinics were equipped to execute all aspects of each initiative.
