As the Senior Director of Global Benefits certified as an employee benefits specialist, I design and administer a comprehensive suite of cost-effective benefit plans that attract executive and non-management talent. My strength is in managing large, complex M&A events where aligning benefit plans with those of former employers is critical to employee retention. I led the successful transition of Health & Welfare benefits into two distinct companies during an acquisition where I re-created identical benefits for both entities for 7 thousand employees. Prior to moving employees at an acquired company onto Wyndham’s benefits programs, I conduct cost/benefit analyses to assess the financial impact and identify new strategies if needed. I also successfully complete multiple large-scale 401k plan mergers and terminations following corporate actions. The plans I administer include health and wellness, retirement accounts, and executive deferred compensation, with a strong focus on driving wellness initiatives. I formed a global wellness council that meets monthly to implement global wellness initiatives while strategizing for future programs, such as Be Well Day – a widely attended annual event focused that includes health fairs and guest speakers.
